China Rare Earth Prices - May 22, 2019

China rare earth prices continue to rise sharply mainly because restricting production volumes of domestic rare earth resources raised insiders’ strong rised mentality under the unstable trade environment. After the state leaders surveyed and studied the rare earth enterprises in Jiangxi, the market speculation was strong.

Moreover, the import of Myanmar mines have been banned since May and rare earth permanent magnet brought up sharply. So the whole market prices are in the upward trend, even for praseodymium and neodymium products that have been in the downward trend last month. Given that, the market is expected to remain strong in the short term.
