Chinese Rare Earth Prices - May 8, 2019

Chinese rare earth prices reappeared in a mixed state in the week began on Monday May 6. For medium-heavy rare earths, prices got supported from tight supply and strong rised mentality of traders. But for light rare earth products, market prices tended to drop to the level of production costs. Although most market participants tried to raise their offers under the environmental protection, market transactions were limited. Some of them remain stable sentiment while others reduced product prices for more sales. On the whole, market trading is hard to increase and most insiders would be negative about the outlook.
