Russia is the world's rare earth industry to support the most serious national trade protectionism

According to Global Trade Alert Organization (GTA) data , Russia is the largest national trade protectionist policies implemented in 2013 in the world , followed by Belarus .

According to GTA identification data protection policy in Russia accounted for 20 % of global trade protectionism existing policies , including from a reduction in the quota of foreign workers into the country for the rare earth industry, agriculture and aircraft manufacturers support measures .

Russian trade protection measures implemented up to 78 , accounting for almost one-third of the Group of 20 (G20) trade protection policy.

GTA data show that Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan form a single customs union , trade protectionist policies implemented in this emerging trade group representing 33 % of the world .

Russian President Vladimir Putin is trying to persuade Ukraine to join the Customs Union above , while alienating the President of Ukraine and the EU closer to Russia's practice has sparked mass protests the country .

GTA 's Simon Evenett coordinator , said, " The Customs Union is only one eighth of China's population , but trade protectionist measures is China 's 15 times . "Evenett is also a professor of the Swiss Institute for International Economics .

" Russia's economic restructuring policy is undoubtedly big strong protectionist subsidies and aggressive fusion . Seen in this light , Russia does not join the World Trade Organization (WTO) in the process of the new generation model. "

During the economic crisis that began in 2008 , global trade growth has slowed to near stagnation levels.
