Shielding Material

The Materials for shield includes high density tungsten alloy, lead, iron, etc, depending on the different field and application to select a different shield material.

If the shield has budget control, then you could choose lead as the material of the shield, but if the shield is the point of application which needs limited space, so you need to choose tungsten alloy shield which is thin, and has good shielding performance. For very low frequency electromagnetic field changes (such as frequency 50Hz), you have to use a ferromagnetic material to shield, like shielded power transformer, you can choose iron to shield which has good magnetic permeability.
