Titanium Tungsten Carbide Cobalt

Titanium tungsten carbide cobalt is composed of the WC% 26mdash,Tic, WC and bonding metal cobalt,or only of the WC% 26mdash.Tic solid solution is composed of multiphase carbide and cobalt. The cobalt content of 4% to 10% of the alloy containing Tic 5% ~ 30%, balance WC, mainly used for cutting steel.

Titanium tungsten carbide cobalt has a high resistance to crater wear ability, suitable for long cutting tool materials. Cobalt with tungsten carbide cutting steel prone to crater wear, which is mainly due to the tool and chip diffusion reaction occurs at temperatures caused by the cutting.

The grade of "YT" ("hard titanium" pinyin word prefix) and the average content of titanium carbide composition.For example, YT15, represents the average Tic = 15%, the remainder being tungsten carbide and cobalt titanium tungsten carbide cobalt content.
