1.First thing is to prepare surface to be plated. Place magnetic apron around surface, so run off will go in desired container. Start off with a polish for metals. Any metal polish will work. After polishing hook the ground wire from plater to the metal piece. Pour your Activator in a plastic cup and dip electrode with cloth wand into Activator. Rub entire surface until satisfied that no contaminants remain. Rinse with water.

2.Rinse out wand and pour Chrome plate solution into new cup. Dip clean wand into solution and rub over entire surface like you did with the Activator. You will have to change settings on plater. Finished surface should have a highly reflective finish. Rinse with water.

3.Rinse wand out again. Use same cup of Activator for this process. Dip wand into Activator and rub over entire surface. You will see no effect to the Chrome shine, because all your are doing is cleaning it. Once satisfied of coverage rinse surface and wand off with water.
