According to the announcement of the Jiangxi Provincial Natural Resources Department, the Second Geological Brigade of Jiangxi Geological Bureau has transferred the detailed exploration rights for the Xujiajian W-Sn Mine in Fuliang County, Jiangxi Province, with a transfer price of RMB 0.
It is reported that the mine has achieved certain exploration results. In 2005, the Northwest Jiangxi Geological Brigade conducted a general survey of tin (tungsten) mines in the peripheral Bazinao mining area and carried out a small number of exploration projects. A mineral geological survey was conducted in the Xujiajian mining area, and some quartz vein (belt) type tin (tungsten) mineralized bodies were discovered. From 2006 to 2008, the Northwest Jiangxi Geological Brigade conducted a general survey of tin (tungsten) mines in Xujiajian, completing 3,288 meters of drilling, 947 meters of shaft exploration, and trench exploration work. More than 100 quartz veinlet belt-type tin (tungsten) mineralized bodies and six altered granite-type tin mineralized bodies were initially delineated in the Xujiajian mining area.
From 2009 to 2014, the Northwest Jiangxi Geological Brigade conducted a general survey of tin and tungsten mines in the Xujiajian mining area, completing a total of 10 square kilometers of 1/10,000 geological surveys, 4 square kilometers of 1/5,000 geological surveys, 2,789 meters of drilling, 1,259.30 meters of shaft exploration, 1,061.76 cubic meters of trench exploration, 1,059 chemical samples, and 3 kilometers of geophysical prospecting induced polarization profiles.
In 2022, the Second Brigade conducted a detailed survey of the Xujiajian mining area, completing a total of 2,506.3 cubic meters of trench exploration, 4,515.68 meters of drilling, and 3,023 basic samples.
According to the "Detailed Geological Survey Report on Tungsten-Tin Mines in the Xujiajian Mining Area of Fuliang County, Jiangxi Province" formed in May 2013, the Xujiajian Tungsten-Tin Mine is a comprehensive deposit dominated by tungsten and tin, with associated copper, molybdenum, and silver. The deposit is mainly composed of quartz veinlet belt-type tungsten-tin ore bodies, accounting for about 65.04% of the total resource volume in the entire mining area; followed by altered granite-type tin ore bodies, accounting for about 34.96% of the total resource volume in the mining area. At that time, it was estimated that the mining area had a total of 1.0556 million tons of Category 333 tungsten-tin ore resources, with 1,328.22 tons of WO3 and 2,662.03 tons of Sn, and average grades of 0.19% WO3 and 0.25% Sn. The Category 334 tungsten-tin ore resources amounted to 96,000 tons, with 189.63 tons of WO3 and 244.67 tons of Sn, and average grades of 0.23% WO3 and 0.27% Sn. The associated copper resources amounted to 549.30 tons of Category 333 and 66.06 tons of Category 334.
