China Ferro Molybdenum Prices - Oct. 23, 2019

Molybdenum market quotation in China: the latest prices of ferro molybdenum, molybdenum concentrate and molybdenum oxide continued to decline on quiet trading and cautious sentiment. Most upstream manufacturers kept firm prices but downstream market did not follow up. 

Steel mills lowered down their offers as a result of consumer destocking, a global economic slowdown and geopolitical turmoil, but supported by traditional peak season and high production costs of raw materials, the decline is limited. Most traders try to avoid risk of price inversion.
