China Tungsten Concentrate Price Down on Availability Rise

A lack of demand for tungsten concentrate drags down prices in China. Affected by environmental protection policy supporting supply and cost sides, sellers are reluctant to cut profits for more sales. Offer levels range slightly, but market trading is in a stalemate. 

APT price slides to $86.8 per mtu close to guide prices while purchasers still pursue a further fall. Demand is slow, although supply is amply, plus sharp rise in the second quarter, buyers now are cautious on stocking up. 

New orders in tungsten powder market are rare in off-peak season. Supports from production costs also are weakened, and prices fall. Manufacturers keep offer levels to $40.8 per kilogram.
