Titanium dioxide and tungsten trioxide are the main forces of current photocatalytic materials. What kind of sparks will appear when the two of them dissolve?

Use blue tungsten W2.90 as raw material. The W2.90 and TiO2 powders were soaked and stirred in a 0.5-3M chlorosulfonic acid solution. After completely immersed, quickly remove the W2.90-TiO2 synthetic powder. This process should try to isolate the water vapor in the air. Transfer to 120°C Mafu oven to volatile solvent and calcine for 24 hours, cool down after constant temperature calcination in air or oxygen atmosphere between 300-600°C for several hours, then turn into SO42-WO2.90-TiO2 photocatalyst.

The TiO2 powder is coated with tungsten oxide and sulphate acidified to become a sulfated tungsten oxide doped titanium dioxide photocatalyst SO42-WO2.90-TiO2. By synthesizing, the defect of poor light conversion efficiency of titanium dioxide is improved, and at the same time the electron and hole generation speed of titanium and tungsten is stimulated.

The compounded tungsten oxide-doped titanium dioxide photocomposite catalyst can be directly or indirectly utilized for sterilization, air pollution, self-purification of material surface decontamination, water pollution, or purification of soil pollution, and it can also be converted into a coating or other form of photocatalyst.
