Chinese Rare Earth Market - Oct. 9, 2017

Before the holiday, Chinese rare earth market is caught in heavy wait-and-see atmosphere amid less trading volume and stable price. A rare earth corporation in Guangdong announced on Sep. 26 that it will stop production to undergo repair for one month. 

Besides, Southern Rare Earth Enterprises Alliance proposed their members to stop production in October. Affected by that, rare earth price may rebound in the later market. But as the demand in the downstream enterprises remains weak, tight supply increases shipment pressure, rare earth price is expected to hold steady with weak adjustment in the short term.
