Molybdenum price in China remains weak as the purchasing enthusiasm of downstream enterprises is poor. The latest price of molybdenum concentrate and ferro molybdenum stabilizes, and molybdenum oxide edges lower.

The supply of molybdenum concentrate in spot is tight, sources in large mines are very tense, but downstream enterprises’ demand for raw materials is poor. Weakness in steel market has affected bidding prices of ferro molybdenum. In addition, molybdenum price outside China tends to decline, with rigid demand to support the market. In the short term, molybdenum price will change slightly.
