The Ganzhou tungsten association and major tungsten enterprises lower the price slightly, showing clear the purpose to stabilize the industry. Therefore, although buyers and sellers both have positive bullish outlook to the tungsten market, they still have to be careful when offer prices.

 

For Xiamen tungsten industry, the first Spot price of APT long – term order in July was RMB 124,500/ton, raising RMB 500/ton compare to that of last month. In July, Jiangxi tungsten wolframite concentrate quotation is RMB 81,500/ton, reducing RMB 1,000/ton compared to last month.

 

In the first half of July, the price of tungsten worfremite long –term order that Zhangyuan tungsten industry offered is RMB 81,500/ton, increasing RMB 500/ton compared with the previous round. Scheelite Concentrate quotation is RMB 80,000/ton, increasing RMB 500/ton compared with the previous round. Ammonium paratungstate price is RMB 125,000/ton,and equals that of the last round.

 

Ganzhou tungsten association July forecasted an average worfremite price of RMB 81,500/ton, reducing RMB 1,000/ton compare to the last month. APT quotation is RMB 12.5/ton, reducing RMB 1,000/ton compared with the last month. And medium grain tungsten powder quotation is RMB 200/kg, reducing RMB 5/kg compared to that of the last month.

 

In addition, Wikipedia information data shows that since 2017, tungsten concentrate, ammonium paratungstate prices increased by 12%-15%. Compared to the same period of last year, the uplift is nearly 30%.

 

Overall, as the raw material resources are tightening, the trend of tungsten market is positive.and However, due to the off-season demand, prices of tungsten products remain to be defined.
