European Ferro-tungsten Prices Likely to Increase

An increasing tightness in the availability of prompt release ferro-tungsten prices in the Europe ferro-tungsten market has forced stockholders to move offering prices USD0.10-0.20kg W higher this week, with numbers between USD43.70-44.20kg W in warehouse Rotterdam as of Tuesday.

Sources, who confirmed consumer purchases between USD43.50-43.70kg W d.d.p over the past 4-5 days, acknowledged that rising export prices from Asia would likely force European ferro-tungsten prices closer to USD45.00kg W in warehouse Rotterdam in May.
