Ferro-tungsten Availability Tight in Europe

Despite newly produced ferro-tungsten being packed and ready for shipment out of Vietnam and destined for Europe later this month,Europe expects the tightness in availability out of Rotterdam to last through until JuneJuly.

With tungsten concentrate prices rising steadily over the past two months in China, the official China ferro-tungsten price has moved way above numbers quoted in Europe, currently between USD43.20-44.20kg W in warehouse Rotterdam as of Tuesday.

However, recently completed ferro-tungsten production facilities in Vietnam have new material ready for shipment and offer an alternative choice.
