Xiamen Tungsten Raised its APT Bid Price for the Second half of January, 2022

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

China’s domestic tungsten price was in the upward trend in the week ended on Friday January 21, 2022 boosted by a new round of price increase in guide prices for the second half of this month.

Zhangyuan Tungsten released its long-term contract prices for the second half of January: black tungsten concentrate price (WO3≥55%) was $18,015.9/ton, up $555.6/ton; scheelite concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $17,777.8/ton, up $555.6/ton; ammonium paratungstate (APT) price was $315.7/mtu, up $9.0/ton compared with the first half of this month. 

Jiangxi Tungsten quoted black tungsten concentrate at $18,254.0/ton, up $396.8/ton from the first half of this month.

China's state-controlled tungsten producer and primary materials consumer Xiamen Tungsten raised its APT bid price from $304.5/mtu to $313.9/mtu for the second half of January.
