Dysprosium Oxide Price - April 19, 2021

Rare earth market quotation in China: terbium oxide, dysprosium oxide and praseodymium neodymium oxide prices continue to decline on April 19, 2021. Most companies prefer to carry out their long-term orders and thus new increased orders are limited.

In the short term, market price is not likely to reduce sharply as the supply in the market may become tighter. High production costs, stopping production of factories to undergo repair and stricter environmental protection make some smelting factories to reduce production and quote cautiously.

The National Bureau of Statistics released economic data for the first quarter of 2021, and the national economy started well in the first quarter. According to preliminary calculations, the gross domestic product in the first quarter was 24,931 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18.3% at comparable prices, an increase of 0.6% from the fourth quarter of 2020, an increase of 10.3% from the first quarter of 2019, and an average increase of 5.0% over the two years.
