ASX-listed exploration company Rafaella Resources has entered into an agreement with PanEx Resources to acquire the Borralha and Vila Verde tungsten projects in Portugal. Rafaella will acquire from PanEx Resources the rights to Pan Iberia, where PanEx Resources, through its subsidiary PanMetals Unipessoal, has 100% of the rights to acquire the Borralha project and 90% of the Vila Verde project.

Dreadnought Resources Finds Rare Earth Intrusions at Mangaroon Project

A recent airborne magnetic survey by Dreadnought Resources at the Mangaroon Project in the Gascoyne area of Western Australia identified five potential rare earth element (REE)-bearing carbonate intrusions. The survey identified multiple ovoid magnetic anomalies that are located south of the crustal-scale Lyon River Fault and have a similar appearance to the textbook examples of an igneous carbonate intrusion.

Vancouver-based mining company Starcore International Mines has expanded its exploration for molybdenum and other precious metals in Mexico. The company's holdings include a producing mine and exploration and development projects in Mexico.

Australian Bauxite Reports High-Grade Rare Earth Element Discovery

Australian Bauxite Limited (ABx) says it has discovered the highest-grade rare earth element, neodymium, in its Deep Leads discovery. It told the Australian Securities Exchange it was awaiting the results of 20 recent drill holes that could "materially expand" the known extent of the mineralization.

Ferro-Alloy Resources First Sale of Ferro-Molybdenum

Ferro-Alloy Resources, a developer of the large Balasausqandiq vanadium mine in southern Kazakhstan, recently announced that it has achieved its first commercial sale of ferro-molybdenum and has completed production testing of ferro-vanadium.
