Molybdenum Oxide Prices - Nov. 09, 2018

Ferromolybdenum and molybdenum oxide prices edged lower while molybdenum powder price remained unchanged in the week to Friday November 9. 

On the one hand, supports from environmental protection decreased and sellers considered profit-taking; on the other hand, some steel mills cannot accept high-price raw materials, thus prices and quantity in the new round of steel bidding declined slightly. Therefore, actual market transaction prices started to drop, although raw material market was supported by cost and supply. At present, the whole market trading activity is low, buyers and sellers do not make an agreement on transaction prices and supply and demand are in a stalemate.
