Rare earth market quotation in China: domestic rare earth price shows signs of recovery earlier in this week. The policy side that a major clean-up would be coming soon strengths traders’ good expectations for the tight supply in the raw material market and prices of praseodymium and neodymium related products rise slightly. The current market demand remains thin. The market waits for new round of listing prices of large enterprises.

A further rectification will be carried out in eight major rare earth production areas, according to the announcement issued jointly by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Development on October 30. Some insiders thought that pressure of supply will increase to boost rare earth prices under continued weakness in prices.
