Nowadays, some sunshine rooms adopt the Low-e glass. Researchers have experimented with glass coated with nano-tungsten oxide, Low-E glass, glass with insulating film, hollow toughened glass and single-sided glass about their infrared cut and UV cut. They have some findings.

Findings:

1. The infrared cut of the glass coated with nano tungsten oxide is 91% while the UV cut is 91%.

2. The infrared cut of low-e glass is 62.8% while the UV cut is 56%.

3. The infrared cut of glass with thermal insulation film is 59% while the UV cut is 99.7%.

4. The infrared cut of hollow toughened glass is 34.2% while the UV cut is 23.5%.

5. The infrared cut of single sided glass is 12.4% while the UV cut is 13.5%.

According to the above data, we found that the best performance of blocking infrared rays goes to single-sided glass with nano-tungsten oxide coating; while single-sided glass with thermal insulation film and with nano-tungsten oxide own the good effect of blocking ultraviolet rays. However, according to industry insiders, normal people need to bask in the sun. High UV cut is not good for your health because ultraviolet light has a germicidal action. It is well known that solar radiation provides energy for every life activity on Earth. Although infrared rays and ultraviolet rays in sunlight are good for the human body to some extent, too much water drowned the miller. Generally, the transparency is about 10%, which is the most scientific. Therefore, from the perspective of energy saving and health, the nano-tungsten oxide coated insulating glass is the best.

Tungsten oxide transparent insulation material solves two problems of building energy saving glass.

1. High transparency means high visible light transmittance and meets lighting requirements.

2. High blocking ratio in the near-infrared band can block the sun and meets the requirements of reducing energy consumption.

Insulation materials of this type also include tungsten bronze, ITO, ATO, FTO and the like.

Actually, tungsten oxide insulating material is not a cool technology, but a product of scientific and technological development. We believe that transparent insulation materials will inevitably attract more and more attention owing to the advocacy of "energy saving and emission reduction" and "taking the road of sustainable development".
