Some deep processing enterprises even offer RMB 1,790.00/t for soluble molybdenum oxide, but sellers are reluctant to sell, waiting for the new guide prices from large mines in the Northeast.

The quotation for chemical molybdenum oxide was RMB 1,730.00-1,760.00/t, metallurgical molybdenum oxide was RMB 1,760.00-1,780.00/t and soluble molybdenum oxide was RMB 1,800.00-1,820.00/t.

Molybdenum concentrate supply is tight in China and most downstream enterprises have stock shortage. With the promotion of enquiry, quotation in the mines would tend to rise. Considering the current transaction prices of molybdenum chemical and products, enterprises still can accept the high-price molybdenum concentrate. Ferro molybdenum market is following up slowly, which may help ferromolybdenum manufacturers stock up some amounts of raw materials.
