Tungsten prices in China market this week show a sharp increase. Up to now, compared with the data on Monday, 65% tungsten concentrate prices increase RMB 2,000/ton.

Some varieties of rare earth in China market continue to raise prices, and price of praseodymium neodymium is still strong. Influenced by the reservation, cracking down on evil and digestion of earlier demand, the current inventory of rare earth in China is limited.

Customs date shows, Chinese import volume of tungsten ore in June 2017 is 136.61 tons, decreasing by 42.57% compared with that in May 2017 which is 237.867 tons and decreasing by 36.70% compared with that in June 2016 which is 215.828 tons.

Tungsten industry maintained a relatively optimistic attitude yesterday in China. The supply and demand are still at a stalemate.

Rare earth price in China maintains stability overall, while prices of dysprosium and praseodymium varieties increase slightly.

As a new round of Central Environmental Protection Inspectorate will be dispatched, some provinces and cities began making preparations and the mining and smelting factories maintain low operating rates.

The  outlook of rare earth in Chinese market is still promising. Most varieties had a slight increase, and praseodymium neodymium elements continue to show a huge growth.

Opening this week, tungsten market in China maintains its previous upward momentum. The prices of mainstream tungsten products rise collectively, supported by vantage supply and large tungsten enterprises’ long-term negotiated price.

Chinese rare earth market readjusts in high price. Affected by ban of waste and cracking down on acts of lawlessness, the industry believes that a supply gap of praseodymium neodymium will appear.

Tungsten market quotation: prices of tungsten concentrate, ammonium paratungstate and tungsten carbide powder continue to increase.
