USDOC Preliminary Affirmative AD Determination on Tungsten Shot from China

According to the announcement by the International Trade Administration (ITA) of the United States, on February 13, 2025, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce, USDOC) announced its preliminary affirmative determination in the antidumping duty (AD) investigation of certain tungsten shot from the People’s Republic of China (China). USDOC is also conducting a concurrent countervailing duty (CVD) investigation of certain tungsten shot from China.

Preliminary Dumping Rates: 201.32% (except for one unit with a rate of 183.31%)

NOTE: Commerce’s preliminary and final determination deadlines are governed by statute. For AD investigations, the deadlines are set forth in sections 733(b) and 735(a) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended. These deadlines may be extended under certain circumstances.
