【Know Tungsten】High Purity Ammonium Paratungstate

High-purity ammonium paratungstate is abbreviated as APT. It is the raw material for preparing high-purity tungsten oxide and high-purity tungsten powder. It can be prepared by thermal dissociation and ammonia dissolution. Under high temperature conditions, ammonium paratungstate decomposes to obtain a hydrous tungsten oxide compound that is easily soluble in ammonia water, which is dissolved in ammonia water to obtain an ammonium tungstate solution. After filtering out the insoluble matter, the solution is evaporated and crystallized to obtain high-purity ammonium paratungstate.
