China Rare Earth Prices - Nov. 14, 2019

Rare earth market quotation in China: rare earth prices are unchanged from the previous trading day as the market is in a stalemate with thin market trading.

Due to the gradual decline in the spot inventory of some magnetic materials enterprises, and the current low market price, downstream manufacturers have increased their enthusiasm for enquiry, but there is still a heavier price-pressing psychology, the actual transaction has not improved significantly. Under the support of raw material costs, some suppliers have a strong willingness to raise price despite profit margin is small.

On November 8, the General Administration of Customs announced the export data for October, of which 2639.2 tons of rare earth commodities were exported, up 1.92% from the previous month; the export value was 200 million yuan, down 4.76% from the previous month. As of the current month, the total export volume in 2010 was 40037.2 tons, and the cumulative export value was 2.6 billion yuan.
