Dysprosium Oxide Price - Dec. 06, 2018

In the Chinese rare earth market, prices of dysprosium oxide, lanthanum oxide and europium oxide climbed slightly in the midweek due to good sentiment of market participants. 

On the one hand, a major clean-up in the industry controlled raw material production affectively and raised market costs; on the other hand, rare earth mines are banned to import into China, further tightening spot supply. Besides, previous price decline raises manufacturers’ willingness in rebound. However, although sellers are willing to keep firm offer levels, buyers remain low buying interests. On the whole, the adjustment in rare earth price would be limited.
