China's Molybdenum Products Imports and Exports in April 2025

CTIA GROUP LTD has compiled the imports and exports of China's molybdenum products released by the General Administration of Customs as follows: In April 2025, China's molybdenum products imports totaled 8,345.85 tons, an increase of 10.49% month-on-month and an increase of 37.87% year-on-year; the import value was 1.244 billion yuan, an increase of 8.81% month-on-month and an increase of 51.85% year-on-year.

In April 2025, China's imports of roasted molybdenum ores and concentrates were 1,862.37 tons, an increase of 186.52% year-on-year; other molybdenum ores and concentrates were 5,463.18 tons, an increase of 33.63% year-on-year; molybdenum oxides and hydroxides were 24.54 tons, a decrease of 88.14% year-on-year; ammonium molybdate was 166.00 tons, an increase of 60.53% year-on-year; other molybdates were 84.93 tons, a decrease of 70.96% year-on-year; ferromolybdenum was 705.20 tons, an increase of 2.85% year-on-year; molybdenum powder was 30.00 kg, a decrease of 86.36% year-on-year; unwrought molybdenum, including bars and rods simply sintered, was 9,995.00 kg, an increase of 999,400.00% year-on-year; molybdenum bars, rods, profiles, sections, plates, sheets, strips, and foils were 21.73 tons, a decrease of 4.48% year-on-year; molybdenum wire was 4.07 tons, an increase of 110.43% year-on-year; and other molybdenum products were 3.80 tons, an increase of 95.07% year-on-year.

In April 2025, China's molybdenum product exports totaled 3,975.61 tons, an increase of 31.48% month-on-month and an increase of 0.81% year-on-year; the export value was 813 million yuan, an increase of 18.88% month-on-month but a decrease of 6.59% year-on-year.

In April 2025, China's exports of roasted molybdenum ores and concentrates were 1,337.03 tons, a decrease of 3.16% year-on-year; other molybdenum ores and concentrates were 1,075.76 tons, an increase of 56.46% year-on-year; molybdenum oxides and hydroxides were 164.63 tons, a decrease of 7.26% year-on-year; ammonium molybdate was 36.61 tons, a decrease of 26.55% year-on-year; other molybdates were 25.11 tons, a decrease of 12.22% year-on-year; ferromolybdenum was 853.40 tons, a decrease of 10.63% year-on-year; unwrought molybdenum, including bars and rods simply sintered, was 209.00 tons, a decrease of 26.70% year-on-year; molybdenum bars, rods, profiles, sections, plates, sheets, strips, and foils were 36.96 tons, a decrease of 53.86% year-on-year; molybdenum wire was 30.90 tons, an increase of 34.64% year-on-year; molybdenum waste and scrap were 187.96 tons, a decrease of 19.65% year-on-year; and other molybdenum products were 18.26 tons, a decrease of 5.09% year-on-year.
