Average Price of White Tungsten Concentrate in Hubei Increased in August 2025

According to the official website of the Hubei Provincial Department of Natural Resources, in August 2025, the average price of 65% white tungsten concentrate in Hubei was 209,286 yuan per ton, increased by approximately 16.83% month-on-month, increased by approximately 56.46% year-on-year; the average price of 60% white tungsten concentrate was 208,619 yuan per ton, increased by approximately 16.79% month-on-month, increased by approximately 57.14% year-on-year; the average price of APT (ammonium paratungstate) was 308,738 yuan per ton, increased by approximately 17.19% month-on-month, increased by approximately 54.07% year-on-year; and the average price of tungsten carbide powder was 459,976 yuan per ton, increased by approximately 19.67% month-on-month, increased by approximately 54.80% year-on-year.

According to CTIA GROUP LTD Manufacturing, in August 2025, China's tungsten market continued its high-level base from the previous period, showing a strong upward trend. In terms of average prices, the average price of 65% black tungsten concentrate was 211,400 yuan per ton, increased by 16.60% month-on-month, increased by 55.44% year-on-year; the average price of 65% white tungsten concentrate was 210,400 yuan per ton, increased by 16.69% month-on-month, increased by 55.85% year-on-year; the average price of ammonium paratungstate was 312,500 yuan per ton, increased by 18.01% month-on-month, increased by 54.70% year-on-year; the average price of tungsten powder was 473.10 yuan per kilogram, increased by 19.43% month-on-month, increased by 55.70% year-on-year; and the average price of tungsten carbide powder was 461.43 yuan per kilogram, increased by 19.23% month-on-month, increased by 54.40% year-on-year.

In August 2025, the average price of 40%-42% molybdenum concentrate in Hubei was 4,312 yuan per ton-unit, increased by approximately 9.30% month-on-month, increased by approximately 19.45% year-on-year; the average price of 45%-47% molybdenum concentrate was 4,342 yuan per ton-unit, increased by approximately 9.23% month-on-month, increased by approximately 19.29% year-on-year.

According to CTIA GROUP LTD Online, in August 2025, the price trend of molybdenum products in China was a decline followed by a rise, with the end-of-month prices of most products higher than those at the beginning of the month. In terms of average prices, the average price of molybdenum concentrate was 4,358 yuan per ton-unit, increased by 9.09% month-on-month, increased by 19.07% year-on-year; the average price of ferromolybdenum was 279,762 yuan per ton, increased by 9.62% month-on-month, increased by 17.30% year-on-year; and the average price of molybdenum oxide was 4,466 yuan per ton-unit, increased by 8.29% month-on-month, increased by 19.09% year-on-year.

In August 2025, the average price of 30% copper concentrate in Hubei was 20,574 yuan per ton, 65% lead concentrate was 8,686 yuan per ton, 55% zinc concentrate was 9,207 yuan per ton, Au99.95 was 775.52 yuan per gram, and silver concentrate (≥1000g/t) was 7,251 yuan per kilogram.
