The editor believes that within three months, from a short-term perspective, both major tungsten companies and market reactions will maintain a basically stable state after a short-term rise. If (1) the raw material holders do not release a large amount of goods, or (2) the economy does not shrink significantly, and (3) the country's recent controls are not lifted, then the price of tungsten products will remain high this year under the condition of economic stability, reduced mining quotas, and strict export control. However, if (1) the Sino-US tariff war is successfully resolved, Western countries such as Europe, the United States, Japan, and South Korea will replenish and increase inventory in large quantities due to my country's slightly relaxed regulations, or (2) my country will moderately carry out national reserves due to poor market circulation and congestion, or (3) the long-awaited tungsten product futures are launched and the conditions are basically mature, then the price of tungsten products, especially the representative black tungsten concentrate and ammonium paratungstate (APT), will hit another new high after these conditions appear.

We believe that a rational and healthy market logic should be underpinned by a complete industrial chain capable of ensuring smooth flow and channeling of resources. Consequently, sustaining long-term trends becomes challenging when short-term price hikes cannot be absorbed or pressure promptly alleviated across all sectors. For the tungsten market, it is essential to strike a balanced rhythm between profit-taking and inventory management—avoiding excessive greed or attachment, while maintaining patience and composure.
