The domestic rare earth market overall maintained weak stability, with intense price bargaining between buyers and sellers due to the mutual influence of multiple factors, resulting in slow transaction speeds. 

It is worth noting that most rare earth raw material prices today have shown signs of stabilizing after the decline, with prices of praseodymium-neodymium oxide, gadolinium oxide, and terbium oxide stabilizing at around 358,000 yuan per ton, 164,000 yuan per ton, and 5,300 yuan per kilogram, respectively.

According to information from Chinatungsten Online, the favorable factors include: first, many product prices are close to the cost line, forcing suppliers to raise prices and increase profit awareness; second, many delegates to the Two Sessions have proposed various paths for the development of new energy vehicles, which helps boost confidence in the future rare earth market among industry players. Negative factors include: first, Tesla was recently forced to halt production at its German factory, which is unfavorable for the increased demand for rare earth permanent magnet materials; second, under the recent continuous decline in rare earth raw material prices and the pessimistic outlook of many industry players, downstream terminal purchases are mainly based on long-term contracts or on-demand procurement.

In terms of news: According to Asian Metal, in January, Chinese rare earth separation plants purchased 39,650.00 metric tons of rare earth ores, an increase of 30.34% year-on-year but a decrease of 0.92% month-on-month. The top three provinces with the largest purchases of rare earth ores by rare earth separation plants in January were Inner Mongolia (12,600.00 metric tons), Sichuan (6,300.00 metric tons), and Jiangxi (1,470.00 metric tons).
