China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association Declined Average Tungsten Forecast Prices for November 2023

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

A new round of guidance prices by GTA and large tungsten enterprises has shifted downward, reflecting the current relatively sluggish situation in the tungsten market. 

China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association (GTA) released its average tungsten forecast prices for November 2023: 55% black tungsten concentrate price was $16,714.3/ton, down $142.9/ton; ammonium paratungstate (APT) price was $286.5/mtu, down $3.2/mtu, medium particle tungsten powder price was $39.0/kg, down $0.3/kg compared with October 2023. 

Zhangyuan Tungsten released its long-term contract prices for the first half of November 2023: black tungsten concentrate (WO3≥55%) was quoted at $16,714.3/ton, down $71.4/ton; scheelite concentrate (WO3≥55%) was quoted at $16,500.0/ton, down $71.4/ton; APT was quoted at $286.5/mtu, down $1.6/mtu compared with the second half of October 2023. 

Jiangxi Tungsten quoted high-grade black tungsten concentrate at $17,071.4/ton, down $71.4/ton compared with the second half of October 2023. 

Xiamen Tungsten’s APT bid price for the first half of November 2023 was $285.7/mtu, down $1.6/mtu compared with the second half of October 2023.
