Holmium Oxide Prices – July 10, 2023

Rare earth market quotation in China: terbium oxide, holmium oxide and dysprosium oxide prices edge lower on July 10, 2023 under the influence of many uncertain factors.

The price trends of praseodymium, neodymium and dysprosium and terbium were slightly different, that is, the former maintained stable operation, while the latter fluctuated and declined. This is mainly attributable to the fact that the price of praseodymium and neodymium has been declining in the early stage and approached the cost line, which in turn forced suppliers to be reluctant to sell and increase their awareness of raising prices. As for the price of dysprosium and terbium, the downstream inquiries increased in the early stage and the spot supply in the market was not much. It was an important source of energy that drove up the price of dysprosium and terbium at that time. However, due to the slow follow-up of downstream demand and the gradual increase of negative factors, many suppliers rationally lowered their quotations.

News: Robots are one of the important application fields of rare earth materials. The "Robot +" Application Action Implementation Plan points out that by 2025, the density of manufacturing robots will double compared with 2020, the application depth and breadth of service robots and special robots will be significantly improved, and the ability of robots to promote high-quality economic and social development will be significantly enhanced.
