China’s Xiamen Tungsten Raised APT Bid Price for the Second Half of April 2023

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

China tungsten price has been raised across the board in the week ended on Friday April 21, 2023 as large tungsten enterprises increased their long-term contract prices for the second half of April, releasing positive signals to the market. 

Zhangyuan Tungsten’s long-term contract prices for the second half of April: black tungsten concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $17,846.2/ton; up $461.5/ton; scheelite concentrate (WO3≥55%) price was $17,615.4/ton; up $461.5/ton; APT price was $307.7/mtu, up $6.1/mtu compared with the first half of April 2023. 

Jiangxi Tungsten quoted high grade black tungsten concentrate at $18,153.8/ton, up $384.6/ton compared with the first half of April 2023.

Xiamen Tungsten quoted APT bid price at $304.2/mtu, up $2.6/mtu compared with the first half of April 2023.

Xianglu Tungsten’s long-term contract prices for April: 55% black tungsten concentrate price was $17,692.3/ton, down $76.9/ton; 55% scheelite concentrate price was $17,538.5/ton, down $76.9/ton; APT price was $304.2/mtu, down $2.6/mtu from March 2023.
