From the perspective of the supply side, due to the high temperature and heavy rain and the rebound of the epidemic in many places, the production capacity of some molybdenum manufacturers is limited. In addition, the large number of suppliers shipped in the early stage and the import volume of domestic molybdenum raw materials is small recently, and the market is available from stock. more nervous. Currently, the prices of molybdenum concentrate, ferromolybdenum and molybdenum oxide have been raised to around RMB 2,960/tonne, RMB 193,000/ton and RMB 3,060/ton, respectively.

In terms of news: data from the China Iron and Steel Association shows that in the first ten days of September 2022, the steel inventory of key iron and steel enterprises was 17.0645 million tons, an increase of 1.1215 million tons or 7.03% over the previous ten days; an increase of 14,200 tons over the same ten days of last month, an increase of 7.03% 0.08%; an increase of 5.7676 million tons or 51.06% over the beginning of the year; an increase of 3.7407 million tons or 28.08% over the same period last year.
