China Lanthanum Oxide Price - July 20, 2022

Rare earth market quotation in China: neodymium oxide and praseodymium neodymium metal prices edge lower while lanthanum oxide price remains unchanged on July 20, 2022. 

Under the mutual influence of positive and negative factors, the buyer's market has a greater advantage, which is mainly reflected in the willingness of many suppliers to make price concessions and the fact that there are not many actual transactions.

In the light rare earth market, both the transaction volume and price fell, the enthusiasm of magnetic material companies for enquiries and purchases and the listed prices of rare earths in the north were not optimistic this month, which are the main reasons for the reduction of supplier quotations and the slow growth of orders. Prices are gradually approaching the cost line and the market is expected to pick up due to the difficulty in increasing the spot supply of raw materials.

In the medium and heavy rare earth market, the price of dysprosium and terbium stopped falling and stabilized, mainly due to the limited release of domestic rare earth production enterprises and the obstruction of the import of mines in Myanmar.
