Dysprosium Oxide Price - March 30, 2022

China rare earth price showed a general downward trend as a whole on March 30, 2022. Under the situation that the negative atmosphere in the market became more and more obvious, the mentality of traders was divided, that is, the panic of suppliers was not reduced and the buyer's wait-and-see mood was strong, so there were few new orders in the market.

The current prices of praseodymium oxide and praseodymium neodymium oxide have fallen below $161,290.3/ton, while the prices of praseodymium neodymium metal and dysprosium oxide are approaching $193,548.4/ton and $451,612.9/ton respectively, according to Chinatungsten Online.

Since mid-to-early March, the prices of mainstream rare earth products have fallen significantly, but they are still at a relatively high level, so downstream users are not very sentimental about receiving goods. In addition, recently affected by the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, industries such as chips and automobiles have been greatly affected, which is not conducive to the increase in the market demand for rare earth functional materials.

However, supported by factors such as the still tense epidemic situation in many northern provinces, frequent rainy weather, blocked transportation and limited imports of rare earth raw materials, some stockholders are still willing to maintain firm quotations.

In terms of news: data released by the China Rare Earth Industry Association shows that on March 28, the rare earth price index reported 386.0 points, a decrease of 3.64% from the previous week's 400.6 points. From the monthly situation, the rare earth price index has dropped significantly since March. The current index is down 10.07% from 429.2 points on March 1.
