China’s Export Price for APT Remained Flat for a Fifth Week

China’s export price for ammonium paratungstate (APT) remained flat for a fifth week amid limited demand but some exporters noted the potential for an increase in offer levels considering the strength seen in the domestic market.

Insiders expressed that overseas APT markets were not active and many exporters chose not to make unsolicited offers. The buyers tried to bargain hard, but sellers were not willing to adjust their offers downward due to the higher purchasing costs of raw materials. 

For the domestic market, ferro tungsten and tungsten carbide power prices tend to rise owing to relatively strengthened market. but deals do not increase obviously because buyers mainly take a watchful stance.
