China’s Zhangyuan Tungsten Reduced Long-term Contract Prices for APT

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

The ammonium paratungstate (APT) and tungsten powder prices continue to stabilize in China as new guide prices from listed tungsten companies reduced slightly. 

Zhangyuan Tungsten released its long-term contract prices for the second half of September: wolframite concentrate (WO3≥55%) was $16,984.1/ton, a decrease of $158.7/ton; scheelite concentrate (WO3≥55%) was 16,746/ton, a decrease of $158.7/ton; APT was $292.4/mtu, a decrease of $1.8/mtu compared from the first half of this month. 

Xiamen Tungsten quoted APT at $290.6/mtu for the second half of this month, down $1.8/mtu from early September. 

Jiangxi Tungsten quoted wolframite concentrate at $17,460.3/ton, down $158.7/ton from early this month.
