China Tungsten Price Stabilizes in November As Overseas Demand Remains Weak

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

China tungsten price continues to keep stable as downstream buyers remain cautious sentiment and the whole market trading seems quiet. Most market participants wait for further guidance from listed tungsten companies and associations.

In the tungsten concentrate market, miners have strong wiliness of bottoming out and face little capital pressure. Therefore, they are unwell to sell products at low prices. Most offers are above $12,923.1 per tone but no deals reported.

In the PT market, suppliers continue to offer APT at $219 per mtu, even though overseas demand remains weak. Traders need to raise export prices when the Chinese yuan appreciates against the dollar. But the decline in domestic prices just offset the increased costs caused by a stronger yuan. Thus, they hold offer price stable between $200-225 per mtu.
