China Tungsten Concentrate Price Stabilizes on Weak Demand

The tungsten price in China maintains stability in the week began on Monday June 15 because a stalemate between the supply and demand is hard to change in the short term considering weak confidence in the market. 

The instability of the macro environment and the continued pressure on the demand side have had a negative impact on the production and operation activities of the enterprise, and the cost side supported the prices of tungsten products becomes weak. 

The tungsten concentrate price hovers around $11,764.7/t owing to different psychological prices of sellers and buyers. Smelting factories in the APT market remain low operating rate to avoid risks of price inversion. And most offers mainly refer to new guide prices from listed companies. For the tungsten powder market, prices stabilize at about $28.5/kg with low transactions concluded.
