Terbium Oxide Prices - May 22, 2020

Rare earth market quotation in China: the prices of praseodymium oxide and praseodymium neodymium oxide declined slightly while dysprosium oxide and terbium oxide prices edged higher in the week ended on Friday May 22 when the market was in uncertainty. 

In the light rare earth market, the prices of praseodymium neodymium metal and its oxide products fell in a narrow range. This was mainly due to the long-term weakness of downstream demand. The holders were slightly panic and eager to ship, so the prices were stable, but the Two Sessions may boost market confidence; In the medium and heavy rare earth market, the overall market was general. The downstream rare earth manufacturers had a higher enthusiasm for entering the market to inquire, supporting suppliers' firm confidence in quotation, and the low price resources on the spot market were gradually decreasing. Recently, the prices of dysprosium and terbium products may continue to rise slightly.
