Cerium Oxide Prices - March 27, 2020

Rare earth market quotation in China: the latest prices of terbium oxide, cerium oxide and praseodymium neodymium metal edge lower on March 27, 2020 because of quiet market trading and the traders' worry for supply, demand and inventory. 

The light rare earth market is weak. As the overseas epidemic situation has not got better, many manufacturers and logistics companies have ceased operations. As a result, the domestic rare earth export volume has dropped significantly compared to before the epidemic. Prices of praseodymium and neodymium metal and its oxide products have been reduced.

In the medium and heavy rare earth market, the overall market has recently been in a weak balance of both supply and demand. Downstream magnetic materials companies mostly purchase on demand and reasonably control their inventories. The prices of mainstream products have declined slightly because there is no substantial demand for support.
