Ferro Tungsten Prices in China Decline with Continued Spread of Coronavirus

Opening this week, the ferro tungsten and ammonium metatungstate (APT) prices in China remain weak adjustment with the continued spread of coronavirus around the world. Fortunately, domestic epidemic is effectively control and RMB exchange rate remains stable as a whole, insiders are still optimistic about the Chinese economy. 

With prices of raw materials dropped back to the level before the Spring Festival, market participants are reluctant to sell and have strong mentality to avoid risks of price inversion. But now the market in China and beside China is still weak and is expected to continue this trend in the short term. The whole market will remain quiet in late March.
