Ganzhou Tungsten Association Raised New Guide Prices for March

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

Chinese tungsten prices remained stable in the week ended on Friday March 6, 2020 as most raw material companies resumed production while the terminal side did not increase the inquiry. Affected by the Coronavirus and persistent weakness in the demand side, tungsten market was caught in wait-and-see atmosphere. 

Tungsten association and listed tungsten companies published the new guide prices this month, which were raised or stabilized, in line with the current market situation. 

Ganzhou Tungsten Association's average tungsten forecast prices for March: wolframite concentrate price was $13,382.4/t, up $147/t from last month; APT price was $234.3/mtu, up $2.5/mtu; medium particle tungsten powder price was $32.9/kg, unchanged from February. 

Zhangyuan Tungsten's offers for March: wolframite concentrate (WO3≥55%) was quoted at $13,382.4/t; scheelite concentrate (WO3≥55%) was quoted at $13,161.8/t; APT was quoted at $234.3/mtu, unchanged from February.
