The ferro tungsten and tungsten powder prices in China are unchanged from the previous trading day as most market participants are waiting for the new average tungsten forecast prices from institutions and offer levels from listed tungsten companies. Now the market faces pressure of imbalanced supply and demand with negative outlook. 

In the tungsten concentrate market, sellers are reluctant to cut product prices while purchasers require lower prices. As a result, transactions prices are weak. The ammonium metatungstate (APT) market stabilizes. Smelting factories face pressure of price inversion and have difficulty in sales and production. In the short term, the tungsten market is expected to be weak.
