Molybdenum Concentrate Prices - Jan. 10, 2019

Molybdenum market quotation in China: ferro molybdenum prices continue to decline while molybdenum powder and molybdenum bar prices remain unchanged because continued decline in prices of steel biddings weakens market confidence. 

Molybdenum concentrate prices drop largely, followed by lowered offer levels of large mines. Prices of chemical and alloy products also edge lower on the decline of costs. As raw material manufacturers’ profits narrow down, sellers are reluctant to sell products at low prices. While downstream enterprises are not optimistic about the late market, so actual transactions are hard to increase despite inquiry becomes active. In the short term, the market will continue the current trend.
