Affected by Chinese environmental checks in major production areas in Jiangxi province, Chinese molybdenum prices continue to keep firm and market confidence is boosted. Prices and quantity of steel biddings show good signs, increasing trading activities.
HEYE Special Steel started a new round of steel biddings to purchase 30 tons of ferro molybdenum at RMB 138,000/t; Huaigang Special Steel issued buy tender for 210 tons of ferro molybdenum at RMB 139,000/t; Citic Pacific Special Steel issued tender for 650 tons in November at RMB 138,000-139,000/t, up RMB 10,500/t from October.
