China Molybdenum Price - Oct. 12, 2018

This week, China molybdenum price was generally adjusted upwards. On the one hand, the steel tenders delayed before the holiday entered the market one after another, and the purchase of ferro molybdenum prices increased the market mentality. On the other hand, the recent situation of environmental protection in the main producing areas is serious, which has a certain impact on the production activities of smelters. And the industry is worried that the output of raw materials will be affected. 

Overall, factors such as cost and supply are positive. At present, the market fundamentals are generally optimistic, and merchants are relatively positive.

According to the news, Panzhihua Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. tendered 60 tons of ferro molybdenum from October to November 2018, and the acceptance price of tax-included factories was 135,300 yuan per ton, which was 2,500 yuan per ton higher than that of August-September.
