Chinese molybdenum prices continue to rise in the week to Friday August 3 under environmental protection policy and factories shuts to undergo repair. Prices of ferromolybdenum, molybdenum concentrate and molybdenum oxide edge higher compared with last trading day. 

Supply tightness of molybdenum raw materials is boosting molybdenum concentrate prices and also makes downstream product enterprises keep firm offer levels. Deals for some high-price products are concluded, although trading volume needs to be followed up. Taken together, insiders are still cautious to the outlook.
